Sandals for Small Feet - Sizes 1 to 3 (EU 33 to 36)

Sandal proportions in petite sizes

Can you find heeled sandals in a size 35?

Plus
Yes. And it is perhaps the summer shoe where size matters most. On a heeled sandal, everything is visible: the width of the strap, the spacing between bands, the line of the foot. When those proportions are designed for a 35, the foot has presence without being covered up. When they are not, the sandal looks either too heavy or too bare.

The support changes too. On a small foot, the arch support does not fall in the same place. Our heeled sandals in petite sizes are built on a shape where every strap and every curve matches a 35 foot. You see it. You feel it from the first step.

Do women's sandals in a size 35 have straps suited to a small foot?

Plus
It is the first thing you notice in summer. A strap too wide on a small foot, and the sandal looks like beachwear. Too narrow, and it cuts. The difference is measured in millimetres: the width, the placement, the angle where the strap crosses the top of the foot.

On a 35, the instep is shorter. If the strap sits too far forward or too far back, the foot slides or tenses. On our styles, it falls in the right place because the shape was designed for that size. Nothing squeezes, nothing floats. That is the difference between a sandal you wear and a sandal you forget you are wearing.

Materials and sizing

What materials work best for sandals in a size 34?

Plus
In summer, feet swell, perspire, slide. Leather breathes with the foot: it absorbs moisture, softens through the day, stays cool even when the temperature rises.

Nappa is the most supple from the first try. Its fibres are nourished deep through after tanning, which gives it that immediate feel, with no stiffness. Patent leather has a lacquered surface that resists scuffing and cleans easily, making it ideal for an evening sandal. Suede drapes the most beautifully over the foot, but it does not tolerate water or humid heat. For a summer in the city, nappa is the most dependable. For an evening out, patent. Our product pages list the material for each style so you can choose with full confidence.

How do you choose open sandals when you hesitate between two sizes?

Plus
With a closed shoe, half a size up can be managed: an insole, tighter lacing, leather that shapes to the foot over time. With an open sandal, there is nowhere to hide. If the foot overhangs at the front or slides at the back, it shows. And it feels.

The most reliable test: standing, place your foot flat in the sandal. The longest toe should neither touch the edge nor leave more than 5 mm in front. The heel should rest in the centre of the sole, without overhanging. Measure your foot at the end of the day, when it is slightly swollen. Our size guide gives exact correspondences. At the slightest doubt, write to us: for a sandal, the right choice often comes down to half a size.
